Sunday Best with Pink Blush
We haven't been going to church lately because our church is 45 minutes away.
He has such a hard time being somewhere without Wesley and since Wesley is almost 4, most programs won't let a 2 year-old in with him. Then there's Nate who still needs a morning nap and won't let anyone hold him but mama when he's tired and not home. So at church, I'm usually holding Nate and my husband's holding Reid....or chasing him. Super fun...It's really important for us to bring our kids to church so we finally made the hard decision to leave our beloved church and find a new church close by. With kids, a church that far away just made things difficult...and it made for a looooong day where everyone was grumpy and off schedule. I don't know about you, but I don't even want to bring those types of days and activities into my life if I already know the outcome is going to be awful. I dodge it all together.
Thankfully, the new church we found is super small and let's Wesley and Reid be together AND its 5 miles from our house.
The first time we went, I wore this beautiful dress from Pink Blush. I think finding church clothes is really difficult for the nursing mom. You want to make sure you have something nursing friendly, comfortable, but also cute and makes you feel beautiful because you don't exactly feel that way about yourself every day chasing kids. I rarely look "cute" in the middle of the week so it's nice to have a dress that works for me while nursing and after. I feel like Sunday is my day to look nice, freshen up, apply makeup, do my hair, and wear something fun.This white button dress is a dream! It's flowy, button down, crocheted at the bottom, long, and even comes in two other colors! Something about the white is just so classy but now I'm wondering why I got the white because I'm in love with the mint green! They also have a cute pink! I got the size small and I'm 5'11 and it's barely too short. If I could have had it one more inch it would be perfect. But honestly, most maxi dresses are WAY too short for me so this was a great find. If you're tall, this is your dress.
