A Season of Change with Pink Blush

I've ALWAYS been a lover of change.

I seek new things, I live for variety, and I hate the mundane. Going somewhere new, meeting new people, trying new odd jobs, and constantly doing different activities with my kids is welcomed. My favorite season is always whatever comes next. Say hello to cozy sweaters, boots, and delicious smelling candles, people!

Recently, I haven't opened this season of change with open arms.

Two of my best friends moved out-of-state this month. The kids are restless because it's summer and they don't have a set schedule (I can't wait for preschool). My husband's schedule is so up in the air that I feel like I'm constantly trying to plan my own life with the kids, but then I end up cancelling things so that we can see him last minute. I'm getting more and more frustrated with this lifestyle of no routine. I know "it's just a season" and fall will be here before I know it.  But deep down, I also know I can never have this summer back with my 4 year old, 2 year old, and 6 month old.

This so called "season" that's supposed to be here again next year, won't be happening again. The trees changing colors, snow falling, and the summer sun beaming on our sun kissed faces will always come around, but not these days with my kids at this age and I don't want to miss out on the NOW.

In a weird way, that's why I got this cute yellow fitted dress from Pink Blush. Having a color that transitions from season to season is a must.
