DockATot Review : A Sleeping Babe

Ladies and gentlemen...what you hear about the DockaTot is TRUE!

Before writing this review, I used the product for a little over a week so that I could actually give my honest opinion (like I do with all of my reviews). My little guy just turned 8 weeks old and was typically going to sleep around 7:30pm. He would then wake up around 1:00am to nurse, again at 4:00am,  and then 6:30ish. Not horrible because he had that nice stretch from 7:30pm - 1:00am...but the rest of the night was kind of shot because I felt like I was up all night. You ladies know what I'm talking about. You go in to their room to nurse, change a diaper, swaddle them back up, nurse again, then put your baby down hoping (s)he goes back to sleep. Then you have to pee, or drink some water, and as much as you're craving a huge burger or bowl of cereal (just me? ha!), you go back to bed after your baby drained all of your calories. SLEEP (and water) is probably the number one thing I need while adjusting to three kids. I can't function without it.

Enter the DockATot: a great multi-functional lounger, co-sleeper and playtime lounger.

It comes in two sizes (Deluxe for 0-8 Months, Grand 9-36 months). It's all natural, 100% cotton, and so comfortable for your little one. Put it on your bed while you're napping or working, lay it on the couch next to you while you're relaxing, put it on the floor when all your kids are hanging out playing, or bring it with you while you travel! So many great options! But...would it really help my newborn get closer to sleeping through the night?Well, as soon as the DockATot arrived, I started putting Nate to sleep in it in his crib. I kept a sleep log of his first week in the DockATot to make sure I was being honest with myself and you all. The results are below:First Night (1) 7:00pm - 1:00am Nurse then back to sleep until 5:00am, fully awake, had a hard time going back to sleep.Second Night (2) 7:30pm - 2:00am Nurse then back to sleep until 5:45am, fully awake.Third Night (3) 7:20pm - 3:15am Nurse then back to sleep until 5:00am. Nurse then back to sleep until 7:00am.Fourth Night (4) 7:30pm - 3:00am Nurse then back to sleep until 6:00am, fully awake.Fifth Night (5) 7:15pm - 4:00am Nurse then back to sleep until 6:10am, fully awake.So....what I'm seeing is that he likes to go to bed around 7ish and then is getting up to a 9 HOUR STRETCH AT 7 weeks old!!!!! You guys, that's a huge deal! Is he just a good baby? Maybe it's the DockATot? Is it the Ollie Swaddle? I don't know for sure, but I will say that his sleeping got a ton better when he was wrapped in the Ollie Swaddle AND using the DockATot.Now, of course, when he starts rolling over and is bigger, I won't be using the DockATot for night sleeping (even though some people do). However, I think it's perfect for newborns and I highly recommend it! And the best part...I have a coupon for you!!!!

Get $10 off yours here!!!

Enjoy and I hope it works for you as well as it did for me!xoxoNicole
