March : Letters to my busy boys

This last month has been crazy. I don't know if it's because the boys are growing so fast or what but it's been busy! Wesley - You had spring break this last month and I tried to fill every day so that you would have fun. We did a lot....even bought some fish that ended up dying the next day. It was pretty sad but they were only 14 cents so I guess thats what we get. You have really been responding well to no TV except for a 10-30 minutes a day and I'm so happy we're doing that. I really think you get to agitated and worked up when you watch more TV or a movie. So I've cut waaaaay back with you and you're doing great! You're thriving in preschool and the teachers always say you're a delight to have in the classroom and that you're "one of the good kids." That makes my heart so happy because I always worry if you're obeying, listening. sharing, etc. You are Reids BEST friend and always have us all laughing. I remember having a hard day this month and you came up to me and hugged me and said "it's ok mama, Jesus is with you." Then later that week you came up to me and said, "You are just so beautiful mama!" You sure know how to brighten my day. I love you bud!Reid - Oh man. You are in the most whiny stage and its super annoying. BUT...you are getting your molars and I think this whole baby Nate thing is finally getting to you. I decided you need to go back to two naps a day right now since Wesley typically wakes you up in the morning or keeps you up at night. Even if you drift off to sleep for 20 minutes in the morning you are SO much more delightful. You talk ALL the time. Like you don't stop. And you say the funniest things! You're growing up way too fast, still weigh more than your big brother, and still give the best hugs and kisses. You love your teethers from the freezer, Papa, and talking about doggies...even though you're afraid of them. You love your daddy, playing outside, and being apart of every conversation. We sure love you big guy!Nate - Sweet baby Nate! I love you so much. It's crazy to me how much  I love all you boys! You're two months old and growing like a weed! You're in 3-6 month clothes because you are just so so long and you're sleeping so good! You're smiles and cooing melt my heart and you still loved to be held more than anything. I'm starting to notice your head getting misshaped because you really prefer one side....I'm hoping we don't have to get you a helmet because I know how hard that would be on you! So instead of putting you in your swing or laying you on your play mat, I'm trying to give you a lot of tummy time and hold you/baby wear you as much as I can. It's definitely harder with your third baby because the two older boys always need something so I find myself putting you in the swing a lot. I need to start baby wearing you even more especially when we're out. You're such a little trooper running errands with us and heading to all the activities. You hardly make a peep. Sometimes you get gassy and need a lot of attention and love and it's hard to focus on your brothers when you fuss and cry so much....but we're figuring it out. I love holding you so so much! I love your smiles and how you calm down when I'm around or hold you tight.  I feel very close to you and very loved by you...such a sweet feeling.I love being your mama boys!
