Venus Viva at Gleam Laser
I pour my heart out, share my life, and post real Instagram stories. But this...this is really opening up, you guys! I'm going to show you before and after photos of my Venus Viva treatment I did in January. What is Venus Viva, you ask? It's a skin treatment I had done at Gleam Laser here in Denver, Colorado. When I first heard about the treatment, I was very nervous at the thought of having my face poked with needles! However, I though it might be worth a shot. I don't have awful skin, but I definitely do NOT have great skin. My skin is sensitive and I break out incredibly easily. I've always dreamt of waking up in the morning and not wearing make-up. And, although I do that all the time, it's because I'm home all day with my kids, not because my skin is flawless. :)
Before I headed over to Gleam Laser for the treatment, I made sure I thoroughly washed my face. When I got there, they put numbing cream all over my face and made me wait 30 minutes. This makes it virtually painless when the tiny needles puncture your skin. Surprisingly, the treatment only lasted about 35 minutes. When it was over, my face was very splotchy and red. I used toner throughout the day and put on thick Eucerin lotion three times a day so that my face was always hydrated. I didn't wear make up for over 72 hours and slowly started seeing a difference after a couple weeks.
Now, the revealing part: the before and after photos. I took all photos with a face light so you could really see the difference. Although I already feel like I don't hide anything, this is really letting everyone into my personal bubble because I always want to give the most honest product/service reviews.

After a month, my pores were smaller, my face felt smoother, and the places on my face that were breaking out started to heal.
